After a intense pre season the players were hyped to continue their undefeated strike in the NLC. The first game against a huge improved Thun showed a lot of flaws in Lucernes attack and defence. The only logical consequence was RCL's first defeat of this year with a 18:8 away defeat.

Just one week later RCL had their first home game against RC Würenlos. In a strong battle, where both team showed great rugby, Lucerne lost the game, which could have gone either way, by 3 points through a last minute penalty by RC Würenlos (Final Score: 17:20, 1 defensive bonus point for RCL)

The third game against the Entente of RC St. Gallen/ RC Konstanz, RC Luzern stepped once again forward and the lads improved their game in comparison to the Würenlos game even a bit more: Strong set pieces by the forwards and great runs and tries by the backs. The consequence was the first victory of 2025 with a 31:10 victory at home.

After 11 games RC Luzern is still on the first Place with 44 points.
